Mountains And Polar Regions:

Mountains and polar regions are cold. The polar regions are covered with snow. There may  be snowfall in mountain regions during the winter. Polar region include artic and antarctic regions. Every year the polar climate has an average temperature less than large 10^0C. As these regions are far from equator,so less sunlight fall in these regions.  Animals such as polar bear, penguin, seal and walrus are found in the Polar regions. Plants like mosses, fungi, algae and lichens grow in these regions as they do not need much water to grow.
